I envy them!

My 4-year-old daughter woke up early yesterday's morning.

As soon as she woke up, she asked me "I want to play with the iPad!"

I told her "OK. But you may use it for 30 minutes."

I installed some applications for kids like drawing, learning Japanese letters, games that teach children how to read the time, learning English, and so on.

My children like to play with them very much, so I give permission to use my iPad for 30 minutes.

She started playing an English learning app with vocabulary games for kids.

I am always surprised at my children's abilities to adopt to growing technology.

She could remember how to use the iPad soon after I taught her.

Some time ago, I was also surprised to see my 6-year-old son was able to use our laptop.

My husband taught him how to use a mouse, and he was able to do it soon after he was taught.

I envy their ability to adopt well!

  1. Indeed. They all look like a computer whizkid to some technology dinosaur like me.
Just so it looks a bit more clear, If I were you, I would write something like "Some months ago/ Some years back (etc. because I don't know exactly when), I was also surprised to see my 6-year-old... (最後のbeforeは入れずに), or "Some time ago...". Thank you for your attention.

    1. Hello! Thank you for your comment again! I corrected my sentence. Since I didn't notice about your pointing out, it always helps me. ( I agree that "When" is important to explain about something happen to make it clear.) Thank you so much!
